My journey began a few years ago, didn’t know just where it might lead.  I stepped out in faith to follow the Lord, show a light He placed in me, and I know He will finish the work that He started, ’cause that’s just the way that He is.  He’s faithful and true so I wanna be too, and share all the love that He gives.

I’m gonna fly on the wings of my dream.  I know it’s not half as hard as it seems, ’cause He’s gonna take me there by His hand and a prayer, when I fly on the wings of my dream.

When I think back on the life I’ve lived - the times He’s brought me through - it makes me rejoice in the life yet to come, all the things I know He’ll do.  ‘Cause He said He would keep us and never forsake us, in fact He’ll be here ’til the end.  His promise is true so I wanna be too, and please Him in what lies ahead.
