Welcome friends!  Here’s a brief history about ChasLutzMusic…

  Back in his early teens, “Charlie” Lutz picked up one of the spare guitars played by his older brothers and sisters and started strumming some chords.    Before long he had written some of his first songs finding inspiration from friendships, church youth group, family vacations, and creation. 

Testimony: In 1977, Charles was an 8th grader.  He had grown up attending church, but God and the Bible had never meant much besides a nice story to him.  That year, his mom made him watch the TV miniseries, Jesus of Nazareth.  This viewing changed his life as God used it to reveal the reality of His presence and goodness.  The film ends with Charles’s favorite Bible verse, “Lo, I am with you always, even until the end of time” - Matthew 28:20(b).

  Today, Charles has played several live coffeehouses, parties, and benefit concerts; and has written nearly 100 original songs…

  …and he has recorded 55 of them on his first 6 music CDs (plus 1 audio book CD) - Windover, Crystal Blue Evening, Twilight on the Lake, Living Proof, Songs for Children, Record of the Ages, and Charlie and a Bird Named Sparky.  His music focuses on themes of Christian faith, God’s creation, family, and friendship; and is appealing to people of all ages.
